Ponente Folk Legacy

Ponente Folk Legacy

Sinopse:

Ponente Folk Legacy were born in the autumn of 2018, created by three musicians from the province of Imperia (Liguria, Italy) who have been involved in the field of folk and traditional music for years. The repertoire proposed by the group is mainly made up of original composition, instrumental and songs, all composed according to the stylistic elements and choreographics of traditional dances belonging to the Balfolk repertoire.
Like their land narrow between the sea and the Alps, the music of P.F.L. climbs in an unprecedented way along the paths between tradition and modernity: the acoustic sounds of flutes and bagpipes are blended with powerful guitars and synthesizers, the ancient words of the dialect alternates with rock, electro and new wave atmospheres.
The group has released two albums to: "Bestiario da Ballo" (2020) and "Scangiamenti" (2023), both produced by the well-known and prestigious folk record label Rox Records.
They have been performing regularly for years at folk festivals and for traditional dance associations and groups, in Italy and abroad.
