In 2015 the theme of Andanças is its twentieth edition. 20 Andanças to promote traditional music and dance, to encourage meeting and sharing, to enable exchange between generations, ideologies and cultures. 20 Andanças to initiate artistic fusions, between traditional and contemporary dance. 20 Andanças to remind that popular dance and music are also synonyms of identity, and often also of its survival.
